Mad Goat Lady

And getting madder by the day!

The little boy that made my day.

Posted on June 7, 2008 - Filed Under General

After being so unwell for so long, yesterday I ventured into town to get more medication.

Cal was my driver and we had parked outside a house where two little boys were busily climbing on their fence. Cal went off into a shop and I remembered that I had left my phone in my bag in the boot so decided to get out and get it. At the moment my movements are a little compromised and I am stooped and look a little robotic when I get about.

The two little boys must have been watching me, as when I got back in the car one looked over at me and smiled and said,”My friend says you are an old lady”

I smiled back at him and replied,”Your friend is right”

His answer was,”Why?”

And I said,”Because I AM an old lady today, I feel like one!”

He absolutely made my day when he looked at me with such a sweet and innocent face and said,”Well I think he is wrong, I think you are young and beautiful”

After the time I have been having of it lately that brought tears to my eyes.

Cal got back in the car and I told him about my conversation with the little boy …he said,” I agree with the little boy, BUT, it is young, beautiful and arthritic if you want to be exact LOL!”

BOYS!

(Thanks to TETB for his typing assistance once again….love ya lots!)

Oh bless that wonderful little boy!

I have no idea how bad you are with your arthritis, but I am sure that his words would have been worth a good dose or two of apple cider.

Really, really gentle hugs to you.

God love em hey, just when you think things are just shite all the time, someone makes you smile and you realise that things are quite as bad as you thought they were.
    Big hugs babe.
