Lupus..what is that?
Posted on May 10, 2008 - Filed Under Health
I have Lupus. I was diagnosed about 19 years ago and have since gone on to develop Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia.
Any time I tell people about my health problems I always seem to get the same response…“What is Lupus?”. Most people seem to know a little about both RA and Fibro but not many people seem to know what Lupus really is.
Today is World Lupus Day and I have written an article over at my second home All For Women explaining just what Lupus is, please go and check it out as spreading the word and raising awareness of Lupus can only be a positive step towards finding a cure for this debilitating disease.

Patricia I looked up Lupus on the net and did some research I always try to do that when I come into contact with something I don’t know about.
I do not know about this disease, but it is because I do not know what is the name of it in my language… Even if I red something about it, I cant name it in my language… And as more I read about it, the less I think, that here we talk about it…
But just yesterday Doctor G said something about it on Discovery channel and one of the thing was, that people mostly do not die if they have treatment.
Anyway I hope, that you are feeling fine now
My MIL has lupus and so does my late Great Aunt. I am fairly familiar with it. Love the blog page! Compliments on the name!! I had to comment (probably nothing you don’t know already) - has anyone put you onto goats milk to aid with some of the symptoms of Lupus? It is liquid gold! Give it a go if you haven’t already - Warmest regards, Jessie, Murgon, Qld
