Exciting news!

My little goat Blackie gave birth to two little babies tonight.

A little brown kid was born first, very quickly followed by an even smaller black one with a white blaze…the image of the mother.

They are both on their feet and drinking from Mum so so far so good. It is difficult to see in the dark so I will wait until morning to handle them and to see what sex they are. I am hoping for two little girls so no doubt they will be both boys LOL! And then of course we will have to come up with two very imaginative names, so put your thinking caps on please everyone :)

Gosh I feel like I have been running a marathon…it is very hard work being a Mad Goat Lady! Not sure how much sleep we will get tonight as mother and babies are in a small paddock outside our bedroom window.

    i’ve always been partial to the name “Hercamur” which I have no idea where it came from but is just quirky and cute.
